Chrysa Kasma – Piano Teacher & Performer
Chrysa Kasma is an experienced piano teacher and performer whose work combines exceptional teaching expertise with an international performing career. She has taught at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music & Drama’s Centre for Young Musicians and is an adult piano educator at City Lit, Covent Garden, London, bringing years of specialist teaching experience to students of all ages and abilities.
As a performer, Chrysa has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in the UK and internationally including London, Birmingham, Glasgow, Switzerland, China, Greece and Spain. A particular highlight was performing at the CERN Institute in Geneva, and she was awarded the Delia Hall Accompanist Prize for Pianists at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
Chrysa holds an MA in Music (Piano) from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, a Postgraduate Certificate in Piano Performance from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and a PGCE in Secondary Music (Instrumental route) from the Institute of Education, University of London.
Whether developing a young pianist, helping an adult rediscover their musicality, or performing on stage, Chrysa brings the same combination of musical insight, technical expertise and real-world performance experience. She believes good teaching is about finding the right balance between high standards, encouragement, and enjoyment. Her main goal is helping students overcome challenges, discover their potential, and develop a lasting and meaningful connection with music.
